Fuerza

Considered to many as one of the best up and coming Spanish Rap/ Reggaeton artists, Fuerza is revolutionizing the way Latinos are being heard and interpreted as a people. Born in New York City as Luidely Baez on August 21, 1982, Fuerza a.k.a “El Unico,” meaning “The Only One,” traces his musical roots to a passion for percussions, poetry and lyrics he developed as an adolescent.

The name Fuerza or “Force,” derives from his sense and understanding of the world as a massive unit, always changing, always developing, just like Reggaeton in the world of music. Without Force, there’s no change, hence the name “Fuerza.”

Fuerza began his recording career by joining NewGround Entertainment in 2006. He began working with recording artists that share his passion for music such as Haghi “NV” Suka and Elizabeth Styles. The hit single Sirena Bellaka, recorded at Elysium Sound Lab, and produced by NV and Kelby Tejeda, includes ethnic sounds with melodic bass rhythms along with back up vocals by Elizabeth Styles, enjoyed popular success on national radio stations in Santo Domingo, DR.

His recent hits Suelo Nuevo and Fuerza Mortal show off his lyrical talents and intricate word play while riding on original productions from NewGround’s original hit team NV and Kelby Tejeda. To Fuerza, the hit song Asesino De Noche shows off his more aggressive, in your face style while maintaining a natural and original flow.

Coming soon are tracks that will definitely catapult Fuerza into the International spotlight as one of the best lyricists of our generation. Original tracks such as Perreo Controlado and Tirenme are sure to generate a lot of buzz and intrigue with the usual criticism from all the haters. Be sure to look out for Fuerza “El Unico!”
